How to spend a lazy day and get some sun in LA when driving to the beach seems too far...this park is just 2 blocks from home :)

The necessities...snacks, fashion magazines and music. Those honey wheat pretzels from Trader Joe's are dangerously addictive....beware...

 Just jammin' with the boom box 'bag' my friend brought along...there's an Ipod connector inside it~coolest thing ever. And it sparkles with sequins. I have to get one!

Hidden Treasure

Vintage shopping might be my favorite kind. This particular store has $1 yard sales EVERY Sunday... it requires a lot of digging, but there are hidden treasures to be found :)

 Inside the store...over-stimulation...

 I almost bought this...this could actually even be my old shirt...had one just like it back in the day :)

 My new (well...old) red clutch~have been wanting one! (not part of the $1 sale but still a great price)

 But the scarf...best dollar I ever spent...

Dresses, skirts, pants...pleats (aka 'permanent creases') are going strong this spring season...fabrics like crepe and silk tulle and anything that's to the sheer side is particularly on-trend.

When the fire alarms go off at work...walk to coffee bean and take a little break.

Went with their delicious fruit fusion iced tea...(have limited myself to one coffee per day). I also love the ice at coffee bean, it's the smaller/softer kind ~ you know what I'm talking about...best kind to eat :)

Wore my new skirt again b/c it's just so soft and comfortable, AND, there are so many ways to wear it.
