Back to the Basics

Sometimes (when you are running late for work and can't figure out what to wear) a basic crisp white shirt and a casual mens-style loose fitting trouser are the way to go...just keep it simple. But yes, still had to tie a scarf in my hair to spice it up a little.... to make myself feel normal.

Every time the Wildfox Lookbook comes out I get excited. "Inspired by Anita Pallenberg, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Rock concerts, 1970s magazines and clothes, soft, over-sized cardigans and T shirts, stolen rock boyfriends clothes and beautiful, long flowy 70's dresses."

That thing you do

Meet my new best friend...Levi's always seem to win my heart. Especially when I see them on the sale rack. Then, there are my new shoes that arrived on my doorstep last week...they are perfect shoes for work or daytime...just 3 inches and the clunky heel makes them super comfortable( even the first day of wearing them). THEN, there's this hat I stumbled upon and had to have. Thought it would be a good one to take to NY Fashion Week...it's creeping up :)
