California Dreams

I'm not going to lie...was a little over excited about wearing my 'new' California vintage tank to the beach on a perfectly sunny classic California day. The crop factor of the tank and the typical expected cali-inspired screen print are such a great combination. One of my good friends brought a few of these tank tops home from a guy she works with....as she was showing them to me, she saw my eyes get bigger as she pulled out this red one from her bag. After holding it up to herself in a mirror, she threw it to me and said "Fine, here. It's so you." :)

Boots All Summer Long

I find myself singing "It makes no difference at all....cause I wear boots all Summer long" (lyric from Stevie Nick's 'Nightbird' song) every time I pull a pair of ankle boots down from my closet shelf this time of year. I've never really been a 'shorts' person other than wearing cut offs at the beach...but I'm branching out this year, and keeping my boots on for the ride is helping :)

Cut-out backs to low-cut backs to back-less to bare-back....it's all about the revealing one of the most underrated sexy body parts this Summer :)

Maxi skirt (try tying one side in a knot!), loose tank top, flat sandals, and minimum jewelry...

On the Road Again

Happy Friday! 

Just confirmed a weekend get-away with a group of super fun girlfriends, exactly one month out from now, in magical Joshua Tree! Not only will we be seeing an amazing concert in a quaint/backyard type venue while we're there, but we also got a massive (and isolated) compound of a house smack in the middle of the desert...complete with pool and gazebo. 

Can't wait to have a mini road trip with the girls and spend some time in the hot hot sun - I've totally forgotten what dry 110 degree heat feels like, and how I miss those desert nights...
