Heat waves, Guns 'N Roses, bandanas around my neck, my new car, old friends in town, wine at Estrella, Marilyn Manson, walks to larchmont, la brea tar pits, visiting the LA Zoo, Guillermo del tori exhibit at lacma, brunch, girlfriends, Pablo (meow) and...stuff like that...

Santa Barbara Magic

Spent a magical weekend in Santa Barbara celebrating our dear friends, Johnny and Lauren, tie the knot! I knew when we arrived Friday night at the Yacht club beach party we were in for a memorable weekend. Barefoot in the sand with a band singing only Jimmy Buffet set the mood for the relaxing and fun times to come. Our boutique hotel was adorable and walking 5 minutes to the beach and into the town shops wasn't too bad either - nor was the late afternoon pool dip. The wedding itself, held on a private beach, was more than I even expected with a gorgeous sunset and maybe the best dance party I've seen at the end of the night - closing out to "Forever Young" and every person there yelling/singing from the top of lungs. Just as it should be.
