 Black Banditz also has the best magazine selections (compared to any other salon I've been) to browse while you wait...I got hooked on the new Flaunt magazine. There are also a bunch of tattoo artist portfolios to check out...

 I just took my Aunt here to get a new 'do and sure enough, the new look of layers is amazing on her. (and if you knew what a freak she is about her hair and how she'll hardly let anyone cut even 1/4 an inch, you would see that this was groundbreaking...)

private beaches

A beach is a beach...but not really.
Hung out in Malibu this weekend and have to admit, the beaches there are just better. As they should be though, when you look around at the beautiful homes....some friends have a summer rental here that led me to discover my new favorite spot, lucky me.

I mean...I wouldn't mind waking up to that everyday...

We always had golden retrievers growing up...hands down the cutest puppies ever. I can't wait to get one of my own one of these days (if I ever have a yard of course)

Mad Love

Drew Barrymore in the 90's.... I thought she was the most stylish badass chick out there. She was sort of the icon for that off-beat quirky girl who was a bit disturbed and broke the rules. Mad Love was one of my favorite movies back in the days of being a teenager. I was recently 'sighing' about this film with a friend of mine who knows just what I'm talking about - most girls around my age do :)
Thinking about it reminded me how awesome the fashion was too...I mean...combat boots, silk maxi dress, plaid, flannel, over-sized button-downs (I have one on today), white 'wife beater' tanks and mini floral dresses...Drew knew...

Tribal Moon

I'm so obsessed with this native american inspired tank top I recently bought at the flea market (for $6!). 

I want to wear it everywhere I go...it's weird sometimes how a certain piece of clothing becomes your favorite for no spectacular reason at all. Why do I love it so much...? Yes it's soft and I like the cut in the back, but still it's just a cotton tank top, ya know?

Anyway! Happy Friday everyone...full moon today and crazy things can happen...be careful out there :)
