Sojourner

Somewhat newcomer model, Sojorner Morrell, has been all popping up over the place lately from editorial to the runway. The 20 year old New Jersey native just started modeling last June 2011, and has already landed a British Vogue editorial, Prada Resort and Jil Sander campaign....not to mention walking all the major runways from NY Fashion Week to Paris. She has been said to resemble a mix of Samantha Ronson and Agyness Deyn, and is known for her tomboy androgynous appeal

 After browsing Sojourners past editorials, I came across this crazy article below from Oct'11...who knew!! If anyone thinks modeling is all glitz & glam this might change your mind....painful!!

"You are looking at the foot of Sojourner Morrell. This is the state it was in on the last day of Fashion Week in Paris, as she walked the Louis Vuitton show. After wearing probably more than a few pairs of ill-fitting heels in the shows she walked in, her feet emerged battered, bruised, and hopefully not broken. James Lim, who knows everything in the universe about models, tells me Morrell walked for Jonathan Saunders, Tom Ford, Giles Deacon, Francesco Scoga, Antonio Marras, Trussardi, Damir Doma, Felipe Oliveira Baptista, Anne Valerie Hash, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, and two other, smaller shows. She was exclusive to Marc Jacobs in New York so her feet only had to endure one show here. So that's fourteen shows, probably millions of castings, and evidently five billion bruises per foot.
