Wedding Crasher

At least I felt like a wedding crasher last weekend seeing as I didn't know the couple or anyone attending...other than my bff who's boyfriend/date had to leave town unexpectedly at the last minute, leaving me to stand in his place...
Went with the tonal/nude look. Love the silk material of this Vince dress with the sheer neck and straps that make it soft and feminine. I also like that it hangs loose like a potato sack vs something
form fitting...good to change things up...

Have never been to a Greek wedding before this - the ceremony was so peaceful I could have fallen asleep (in a relaxing non-boring way) as the sage scents representing love and good energy
floated through the air...

Goody Two Shoes

So, I entered a contest where you had to submit your favorite vintage shoe find. I'll let ya know if they pick these vintage boots to showcase...found them in Sante Fe in '05. I bought them even though they were a size too big because I loved them so much. Wearing double socks does the trick :)

Also, I'm obsessed with knotting everything lately...my dresses, skirts, t-shirts just to name a few. It's like once I started I couldn't stop...things are just looking better this way to me.

Pics from Lykke Li last week - best show I've been to in a long time. Had almost an equal amount of fun taking a limo - which is now the ONLY way to roll to a crowded parking concert venue:)
We all just wore jeans...outside in the hills surrounded by trees gets cold.

 Seeing Lykke live was incredible - more so than I even expected. She's almost fairy-like the way she she moves with her voice but then she'll start jamming out on the drums throwing her hair around. Loved the all black outfit she wore with flat knee high boots - effortless style. She ended the show with Get Some and came back out for an encore. Two, actually :)

We had good seats but the screens were even badass...overlapping images of her and her band...

Love that she plays piano too....
