Bobbi Brown Classic

Not quite Thanksgiving, but Christmas shopping is already in full force. I picked up this pocket size Bobbi Brown palette at Sephora over the weekend that includes all the classic shades for eyes and lips....also a good gift giving idea at a great price. You can't beat neutral shadows with a fresh glossed lip... 

I'll be in Coach

I have never been a fan of Coach logo handbags - or actually anything covered in that logo. But, I do love their classic leather messenger bags that have come back strong in style. That being said, I guess it was my lucky weekend...check out the vintage Coach messenger bag I scored at Wasteland! I found it hidden way in the back of all the purses & bags, in almost perfect condition :)

I prefer my vintage find....but HERE is what the new ones look like!

Underrated Simplicity

Sometimes it's good to go back to the basics with an outfit. With all the mixing of prints and over accessorizing that is so trendy these days, it's important to remember: simple and chic. Black & white is always a classic look...try it with minimal accessories and the fall must-have turtleneck.

Falling for Fall

As much as I love Summer, crisp/sunny/cold(ish) days in LA during the Fall might be my favorite. On the downside, the new season makes me want a whole new wardrobe including accessories like scarves or a 'winter' bag. To avoid going overboard on shopping, I've been mixing up different pieces from last year to create looks that feel new to me.

What better day to make wishes than this once in a century full moon auspicious date in time 11/11/11...what is the #1 thing YOU would like to have, or do?
 For me, just a few simple things like going back to NY (to see my best friend who just moved there!), rag&bone anything, over-sized knits, a polaroid camera, low luv rings;  slh handbags, a caped hood, concerts, deserted beaches, naps, new fall boots, quilted leather jkt, road trips, anything from the proenza schouler+alex&lee collaboration; celine shoes, oh and Dylan McKay of course.
