Sand in my Shoes

Venice Beach=some of the best people watching in SoCal (my friend and I witnessed a father making mayonnaise sandwiches for his children on the beach...yes...mayo and bread only...SICK!) Despite the weirdos, Venice is still one of my favorite places to spend a warm afternoon. After getting the sun fix, there are so many options along the boardwalk - more people watching alone can easily entertain. This particular day though, we stuck to the sand and avoided the large crowds that Venice always draws. It was refreshing to bring my go-to cutoffs out of hiding...don't know what I was thinking with the converse though VS. flip flops...sand grains in the shoes are not always fun!
