Blogger Thrift Store Challenge

Being the thrift store and vintage shopping lover that I am, it seemed nothing but natural to immediately say 'yes' when approached to collaborate with a few other California bloggers in a thrift store challenge: Find a date night outfit for under $20 (excluding accessories and shoes).
Below are the looks we each ended up with....Toni, Melissa, Tori and I all seemed to have the same idea in choosing to wear a dress :)
Check out my partners (in thrift store crime) blogs below and get the details about how much and where they found their finds!

I found my 'date night' dress at Crossroads Trading Co. on Melrose/Hollywood for $16.99!! I loved the satin fabric and the trendy bright pops of color for Summer. A maxi dress is always a great go-to for a date but subtle. I went with neutral flat strappy sandals to keep the look casual, and nude cat eye sunglasses to spice it up. This dress has silver tones throughout it's floral print, so my silver snakeskin clutch and vintage tribal inspired jewelry felt the right way to go on accessories. I even wore my hair in a low side pony to change things up...I am one of those that almost always has my hair down/in my's a security thing...good to branch out..!
