Phoenix Rising

Even though I'm a native Texan, who is practically now a native Californian.... Phoenix Arizona has always been a home away from home. I spent Summers there as a kid visiting my favorite aunt/soul mate, and even lived there for a year after college. This past weekend I hopped over from L.A (on a horrifying plane ride due to thunderstorms) and finally felt relaxed (after landing) breathing in the familiar air of the desert sage and jasmine which are especially intense after the rain :) I wore my standard/comfort travel attire: maxi skirt, boots and a band-T (gotta love The Smiths!)

(skirt-vintage/made in Italy; Band T-swap meet)

  1. I love the maxi skirt! It's almost just like a wrap that you can wear a whole bunch of different ways if you wanted! Love your headband and just reading about your turbulent plane ride makes my palms sweat. I hate flying!!! <3
